A'Dorn Studios has held numerous
successful star-studded televised and local modeling contests, pageants, fashion shows and entertainment productions.
Past models and contest winners have gone on to be national and local successes, receiving modeling contracts, appearing on
television, radio, in national magazines, numerous newspaper articles, made personal appearances, and appeared in feature
films.
The
A'Dorn Studios Model of the Year Competition & Pageantry's Scholarship Fund provides
deserving young women ages 6 - 21, the opportunity to participate in this self-confidence, self-esteem building, career jump-starting
educational program free. Please contribute any amount at any time and as often as you like. Accounting will be available
to all donors.
A'Dorn Studions Modeling School and Talent Agency
was founded by Wanda Dorn in Northern California in over forty years ago. Today, A'Dorn Studios, under the direction of Ms. Dorn, is one of Southern California's leading etiquette
protocol and image "school without walls". Juxtaposed Ms. Dorn's committment to teaching young women confidence,
grace and poise, a "must have" to be competitive today, she is committed to fostering awareness of the need to depict
positive images of the all women, especially the African American woman. Thusly, inclusive in her curriculum for all
women, she has tailored a special curriculum for the young woman ages nine to twenty-five, and the corporate woman no matter
her age, ethnicity or level of career success. Your scholarship donation will afford some pageant participants, otherwise
unable to pay, to be beneficiaries of these trainings.
We
are committed to: - Providing educational, mentoring, social fun, confidence and self-esteem building activities
- Providing for the welfare, safty and stewardship of all participants
- Educating the public/media that depicting a positive image of women is paramount
- Ensuring our competition provide fair and equal support for each participant to succeed
